Brace for it (Carl Grimes fanfic)

I never thought I'd be put in a situation like this. An apocalypse? Sure, I had ideas of what I would do if the world turned to hell and zombies took over the planet but I never thought about the little things. All the tv shows and movies about zombies I've seen were the same thing but, the problem is, they never show the reality of the situation. Like, what if someone wears contacts or glasses, what do you do if you lose a contact or break your glasses (basically fucked I guess) or what if you are like me, realizing that unless you find someone who is a dentist or orthodontist that isn't dead already, you are stuck with braces for the rest of your life. Ridiculous I know, but god these damn things suck.
