Basicamente, reviews dos filmes que ando vendo (bem auto-explicatório). Provavelmente não serão de filmes recém-lançados, pois não tenho o hábito de ir ao cinema. Como sempre, todas as reviews são minha opinião e isto é apenas um passatempo, já que filmes são minha paixão, por que não mostrar-lhes amor? (ou ódio se necessário).

Have Faith: Life and Times of a Glorious Asshole
Screw the cliche stories about heroes and villains. Here's a story narrated by someone else. A smartass. The Anti-Hero. Rude, selfish, and arrogant, Ace Johanna Araya isn't your typical hero. Optimistic, wisecracking, and friendly, she isn't your typical villain, either. After loosing herself in a life of crime; Ace makes the mistake of breaking into the wrong house and ends up under the same roof as a bunch of virtuous Do-Gooders who hunt the supernatural. Of course, she thinks she's just using them for a free place to stay. Little does she know, they're about to get her involved in a lot more than she bargained for. Of course, every story needs its villains, so, two seductively sassy vampires and a sadistic, ageless entity of evil who promises to end life as we know it (no surprise there) come into the mix. Ace will find herself struggling to determine where exactly the line between Good and Evil lies, all the while spewing random innuendos, cracking terrible jokes, and making pop culture references. This is going to be a mess. Inspired by things such as: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Supernatural, John Dies at the End, Constantine, Odd Thomas, Mean Girls, From Dusk Till Dawn, and Deadpool WARNING: The Narrator in this book (Ace) is an egotistical, insensitive, and selfish person. Even the more serious parts will have some comedic input from her and she can tend to be a bit abrasive or offensive. This is, after all, an anti-hero's point of view. This book contains characters of different ethnic backgrounds, races, and sexual orientations. A few will have mental and/or social disorders. So, keep an open mind.Lengkap

Or 'Children' mature enough to read without commenting nonsense.) Jia Yi Ruogang was one of the leading experts in Computer Software, to the extent that everyone believed he was a computer. New Age Government Office had issued him a Pass to go ahead and Hack into systems as he saw fit because of how much Humanity relied on his expertise. Jia Yi was given an arranged marriage with the strongest General leading Humanity in the pursuit of exterminating all the Vrahqs, alien lifeforms, that attacked them. Sadly, someone was livid that the man he loved was being forced to marry another who he thought was 'weak'. In the end, Jia Yi was murdered inside of his Workstation while he attempted to recode a software that could've made fighting the Aliens easier. When Jia Yi opens his eyes there's a man discussing with him how much of a waste it would be for him to die; next thing he knows he's World Hopping. I must make everyone happy? How do I accomplish that? You want me to make that vindictive backstabber happy? Dream on. Wait, why are these two incessentally bothering me? R-rated, for mature audiences! So, where do I start? My name is Elizabeth. I'm 26 and I'm bored as f*ck. You could think I have a perfect life. My husband is a successful businessman and he makes sure I have everything I ever wanted. But, have you ever had a feeling that's not enough? I wake up every morning feeling my life has no purpose. One day I chose to change everything and I met him...But is he who I want? Is me enough for him? In a world where big boys playing their games I appeared in the middle, searching for happiness. They want to play me? Bring it on! Not so good in description, but you should definitely give this story a try. It's gonna be a funny ride. For mature audience only! Strong language and sex scenes. She Kills (2016)
Fun and a bit of sex mixed with travels and introspection. That is "She Kills". This novel was supposed to be the sequel of "Abat-Jour", my novel published by Inknbeans in 2015, that was about four guys and a series of trips to Spain in the summer of 2001 to provide a slice of life of a generation, mixed with irony, surreal meetings and a good dose of introspection. For those (all of you guys, I guess!) who didn't read "Abat-Jour": the story starts from the end: Daniele, the main character, has just come home from the last journey. As he rests on his bed, he looks back on what happened in his life in the last few months, inspired by shadows and things in his room. What comes out, in the shape of this journey, is a search for answers to questions of an entire generation. The narrator, Daniele, takes the reader jumping forward and back in months and years, collecting emotions and memories with a musical trace of U2's songs, always present. Everything finds its own place, eventually, in the puzzle of Daniele's memory illuminated in his Abat-Jour.. "She Kills" is also a fiction novel with 58.000 words estimated. It's about what happened to them from 2001 to 2015. I could say there's a mix of fiction and a true story in both of them. They're full of irony and weird situations but they mainly represent a generation between what it was before and after a critical age (the attacks of 9/11 represent a big divide). They were thirty years old but not ready to become men yet. The main character has a lover and a love story that changes him a lot in both novels. In the first one the girl was Eva, a Spanish girl who seems to be more than a summer story. The novel shows how bad things can go when you don't wanna grow up. In the sequel, there's a German woman named Ele who will bring Lele almost to craziness. At the end, despite all the weird, dramatic and funny situations, Lele realizes that there's no more time to waste in silly relationships in the worst possible way.Lengkap

Because of the high competition, men look like models and the women like dump trucks. When the two modern girls show up, their comparative 'beauty' and basic manners cause chaos and mayhem. Forget having a harem, they want home. Home has cinnamon rolls and flushing toilets. But could they be the key to finding out what caused such an imbalance to the genders? A not-so-traditional satire of self-insertion into the world of the manhua "Beauty and the Beasts" by two old English graduate friends who need a good laugh and writing practice. DO NOT NEED TO KNOW THE MANHUA/FANDOM TO ENJOY THE STORY! It's even better if you don't. DISCLAIMER: This story is unique in that it is not something I wrote for myself or to write any sort of genius plot. I wasn't trying to write 'a good story.' I wasn't even writing to entertain you lot. The whole purpose of this book was to get my friend back into writing so she could have a way to escape the hell which was her abusive marriage and having a baby with A LOT of medical needs. That's why we follow the original plot of the manga in the beginning--because having an 'outline' of sorts of what to write helped eased her back in. Once she got comfortable with writing again the plot shoots off into several directions. It's a story not to be literary amazing or even entertaining to anyone reading.
