Carleigh Bell, a junior in high school, has everything going for her. She is a straight A student, captain of the softball team and has great friends. When she develops a crush on the pitcher for a local baseball team, everything changes. Carleigh doesn't focus on school as much anymore. Her thoughts are consumed with the sexy baseball player. After an agonizing time, they finally get together. But When she finds out her father and the pitchers father are in a rivalry at work, she realizes she can't tell him about her boyfriend.
