The world has been changing, the plates shifting. There has been an increase in tsunamis, tornadoes, hurricanes. But finally, after millions of years, the world finally collapses. The massive Pacific Plate has shifted, causing a 9.8 magnitude earthquake. This earthquake causes the super volcano Toba in Indonesia to erupt. In New York City, where Isaac is celebrating his tenth birthday, the ground starts to shake, the massive, glorious buildings collapsing.
After the horrific events that took place around the world, Isaac, the juvenile delinquent of his family, wakes up eight years later to find himself all alone. New York City has turned into a nightmare. A dense jungle has overcome it, and beasts are haunting the place. With every part of the city transformed and designed to kill, Isaac must face what lies before him. Earth has got along with humans for millions of years, but now, Earth is not playing fair.

Hello, Logan here. It is 2021, and this is the first book that I ever wrote. It's shit. I'm publishing it back on Wattpad again so my friend can read it. It is unedited and as I left it in 2017. I am currently published with three books out, and this is so funny to look back on. Enjoy reading my shittest work to date. In the words of a great philosopher; there is no limit to the gruesome and grotesque things we are willing to do in the name of survival. While reading this; Remember that not everything is as it seems. Remember that loved characters will die. Remember that the world will gradually get worse as the parts go on. Take a moment to ask yourselves these questions: What would you do in the name of survival? Would you steal to survive? Would you kill to survive? Would you lose your mind to survive? If you lost your mind, do you think you'd kill more, steal, injure, backstab, rape or any other atrocity you can think of? If you can think of it, then maybe you would. The characters and situations in this book are very real, if gore or horrific mental images scare you, then I wouldn't recommend reading far. DESCRIPTION: The Infection claimed the lives of over 3 billion people before the TV's went off. But it would claim many more. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published.
