"It's no use Beth, I don't we can save him." Rhys said with his head down.

Completely ignoring him I throw the defibrillator back on and shock Jack's new body one more time. "Come on you son of a bitch." I say under my breathe. 

I waited a few minutes and nothing happened, Jack's body doesn't move not even an inch. Rhys and I started to put up the medical supplies away and cover Jack's body with a white sheet. I leaned down and whispered in his ear, "I'm so sorry I couldn't bring you back to life, Jack."

I started to head toward the door where Rhys was waiting when something grabbed my wrist. I whip my head around and see that it's Jack's hand. "Well from my preservative  I think you did just fine kiddo." Jack said as he removed the sheet from his face.
