Skye Rosevine had known what fear felt like. She had known it when she was 8 and the Gifted, a magical cult, had burned down the cities and towns around her. When they burned down her home, along with her parents inside. So she wasn't surprised when the Gifted froze half the world with ice, and she wasn't surprised to learn that their magical fires on the other side of the world ravaged entire kingdoms and did not stop burning for years. That was 8 years ago.
What little land remained was dubbed the Untouched territory. In the seventh kingdom, Sicarus, Skye is rapidly approaching the age of adulthood. On her 17th birthday, she must take a test that will decide her future occupation, home, and husband. But troubles are on the horizon when rebels threaten to destroy her new world. And Skye starts to hears whispers, whispers of the rebels kidnapping anyone with a trace of magic before their 17th birthday.
And though she's never told anyone her secret, Skye might have the most powerful magic her world has ever seen.

Through vast consolidation begets a single empire bordering on the mere idea of war with an enemy threatening to destroy its entire existence, starting from the inside. Many call it tyranny, others, vengeful menace, but it's taking them down. One by one. Once rejected by the place they called home, five estranged teens jump at the opportunity for an escape. So far, the known abilities are fire, water, earth and air. These people wear red cloaks and mask to protect their identities. What happens when there is a person that has all the abilities and more?
