Skye Rosevine had known what fear felt like. She had known it when she was 8 and the Gifted, a magical cult, had burned down the cities and towns around her. When they burned down her home, along with her parents inside. So she wasn't surprised when the Gifted froze half the world with ice, and she wasn't surprised to learn that their magical fires on the other side of the world ravaged entire kingdoms and did not stop burning for years. What little land remained was dubbed the Untouched territory. In the seventh kingdom, Sicarus, Skye is rapidly approaching the age of adulthood. On her 17th birthday, she must take a test that will decide her future occupation, home, and husband. But troubles are on the horizon when rebels threaten to destroy her new world. And Skye starts to hears whispers, whispers of the rebels kidnapping anyone with a trace of magic before their 17th birthday.

Fearing that she can be a dangerous threat as she controls very strong powers. A dangerous power is approaching and not all the Elements can defeat them.
