He was loved, he was judged. 

He was cared, he was forgotten. 

But again, just like a flower, he was born beautiful. 

In his own different way, but not everyone saw that. 

They saw his sins, his mistakes, his madness. 

He became his past. 

He was going to wilt, he was going to die. 

But oh! Oh that silly boy didn't know, all he needed was love to survive. 

I gave him love, he gave me hate. 

But it's funny how he was the first to say 

'l love you'

I gave him affection, I gave him hope. 

He gave me his trust and a promise to cope. 

He was fire, I was water. 

He was a son, I was a daughter. 

Both of us had a plethora of unsaid crimes. 

But that didn't stop me from being his, and him from being mine.
