Finding out that your parents, the people that raised you your whole life, weren't your actual parents was hard. Being told at the ripe ol' age of eighteen that you're the last living member from an Ancient Shifter line, the one responsible for creating the First Shifters, was inconceivable. "I don't think it'll be such a hardship for you" he said, arrogance lacing his tone "After all, I hear these three Mates of yours are very self-sufficient." Shattered Spirits
Some places in the story are based on real locations. Example: New Fondire = New York, Skudia = North America, etc. And some characters may have different names, such as Lunaa being called Lucifer now. This remake was to show the updated storyline of this universe. V. 4 - 2024 The other storylines will not be put on here, for they are older stories and have overall bad grammar- sorry D: There may be some scenes that have blood, gore, death, or other sensitive topics; read at your own risk. The world's war against dragons has been going on for generations, but no one knows why they fought. After years of fighting a new species emerged, shapeshifters. They were able to shift between a dragon and human form, making them impossible to find. Everyone referred to them as halflings, half dragon and half human. They were said to have wondrous abilities ranging from an armor like pelt to healing powers. These abilities made them prized creatures and wanted across all lands. Those that were discovered usually ended up as pets or fighters in arena's. After five years of their existence they all went into hiding, fearing what the humans did to those that had been captured. They were taught at a young age to never show what they could do to a human, as it would lead to being caught and possibly killed.
