Raven is just a normal teen, well normal to her anyway. To anyone else, she is nonexistent, because they don't believe in her kind, the werewolves. when she leaves to go to the store, her life takes a turn for the worse when her uncle does something to take away all she loves. She is forced to go into hiding, but not before her father, the Alpha, bestows upon her, powers unknown to any of the wolves in her pack, except to her father and her grandfather.

She was traumatized by the loss of her mother and sister causing her to create Raven as a way to cope with the trauma. However, her trauma only worsened when she got older. No one helped her and this made her turn her back to everyone, scared to trust anyone knowing that there's a possibility that they'll neglect her again. From outside her perfectly barricaded self, one person tried to reach out to her. That person was the new principal of their school. Despite the schools negligence she was the first one to notice her struggles. Though that alone wasn't enough to break her walls.
