This is a short story I wrote back in 2009 for my fiction literature class. It was the first Merrick Colt story I ever wrote. Join Merrick as he defeats an unnatural creature and saves a small town from being ravaged by it's insatiable violence.

"Alice, take him and run and don't look back." And so she does. Alone on the road with a baby. A baby that is not her own. The tiny boy belongs to her best friend. The Luna to a life she left behind.
