Lucy Heartfilia is part of the Fiore Police Association, or also known as FPA. There are seven groups. Fairy Tail, Sabertooth, Lamia Scale, Blue Pegasus, Mermaid Heel, Crime Sorciere, and Quatro Cerberus. Fairy Tail, the best group out of the seven. The groups take missions given by the 'Main Office' of the FPA, then get paid after. The jobs include hunting down criminals, illegal drugs, top secret missions,etc.

Stuck in a foreign place with Landwalkers, she must return home to have the curse lifted by her father, but she needs help to do it. However, she didn't expect a pink-haired sea captain to be it. Natsu Dragneel is the captain of his beautiful Fairy Tail, but he searches for something most valuable: the pink Obsidian stone, a rare and valuable treasure that could pay millions of jewels.
