In a world where everything is normal, except for one spot. 

In this spot, the sun never shines, it's forever dark and cold. Monsters prowl the earth, fighting and killing over territory and food.

However, all the rest of the world is normal, the sun rises and sets all the same. The season come and go, the temperature rises and falls naturally. 

In this world two people will face many problems. What will they choose? How will they survive? What will they leave behind, or hurt as they make their decisions?

Bastien Water's name gets called out during the Choosing and he has to try to survive on Earth. While his family grieves thinking that Bastien won't survive but he's out to prove them wrong. Bastien meets new people, makes some friends and make some enemies. Bastien has to face many challenges to survive on Earth. Will he be able to do it? (None of this story is edited... so please bear with me... and the ending is crappy, sorry bout that)

This story really starts in the middle. Ari, who often goes by A, is propped up against a tree in the middle of a forest with a dagger in her stomach. She's lost a lot of blood already, and she keeps losing more. Helios is kneeling next to her, and they're both trying to figure out what to do. I'll start at the beginning, though. Ari is a wanderer, traveller, adventurer, and lots of other things. She doesn't have a home, until one day she does. She's chased into the Akiire territory by the Akiire's enemies; the Tesera. Luckily for her, the chief of the Akiire tribe takes her in. Akiire medicine men and women fuss over her until they're sure she's safe. Then the Akiire initate her as a member of their tribe. She gladly accepts. She's started to like it there, after all. Then Helios starts talking to her. He's nothing special in the tribe. He's a good warrior, but all the warriors are good. The bad ones have already died. Nonetheless, by the time we get to the forest with the dagger and all that, A has only spoken to Helios a few times. Now he's her only way to stay alive.

The back of his hand collides with my cheek throwing me to the floor. He growls and I cower before him. "Why are you so mean to me! I am your mate!" I desperately shout. He chuckles darkly as he walks to me slowly. "All you have done is act like a monster." I shout crawling away from him. "I am a monster just like you are my dear." A wicked smirk is plastered on his face. My coal black eyes widen as I shake my head looking into his Icy blue eyes. "No I am not a monster." I whisper. "You are a monster, a pathetic monster but still a monster." He states calmly as he kicks at my feet. I look up at him "Why? Why are you like this. " "Runt, I am a king of beast. King of dragons and you wonder why I am cold? My very power is ice." He grabs hold of my shoulders and lifts me up as his face nears mine. "And I am going to enjoy freezing your heart."

This is my first novel that I decided to write for people to see, I was told I was good at writing. Basically this novel is about elemental beings and mystical beings fighting against the demonic creatures of hell. The story is mainly action and adventure, has humour and a little bit of romance at few parts and corse language aka swearing and other insulting language. There is also gore and other types of violence in some chapters that are not sutible for children and can just gross people out. Alexa goes on a journey and ends up getting her first kiss while she's at it, but of course, her first kiss is with a maniac.How does she get back at the maniac for kissing her? Who does she meet along the way? Does anyone die halfway through the book? All good questions, unfortunately I'm not going to answer them. I guess you'll have to read the book to find out.
