Arinady will do anything to take down Ascendancy and take back what's her's along with the Guilds abilities she will destroy Acendancy and win the race, the bloody race, the red race Chapter 1; A soft hum of electricity made the pain feel better, not even better, just ...less bad.Arinady thought. She felt pain, not physical pain not mental but emotional "I have never felt so alone near so many people" Arinady thought. How could someone so dear to her be gone so quick, like the the blink of the flashes eye, gone. A piercing pain shot threw her like she was the one to die herself, she would rather that.so many people died,"if I knew that the choices I made would lead to terror like this,I never would have said"Arinady paused,"I never would have said run." She paused a second time waiting for the awkward silence to finally be split when she had to do it herself."keep moving everyone, let's finish Ascendancy."she said angrily reminding herself to not act on her emotions but right now, that's all Arinady could do.

A marriage neither wanted. A hatred neither understands. Two strangers tied by a past that stains everything between them. He never wanted a wife. Especially not her. Cold, distant, and poisoned by assumptions, Amaan enters the forced marriage with one intention- to keep his distance and keep his resentment alive. Asmaira enters with something far heavier- guilt. Not to protect him. Not to save him. But because she knows the truth of what happened... and she cannot bear to confess it. They have never met. But the moment they do, the air turns sharp- full of tension, unspoken accusations, and the kind of hate that feels too much like longing. He despises her for a sin she never committed. She punishes herself for a sin she never confessed. And marriage turns into a battleground where silence is a weapon... and closeness is a threat. In this house, love is impossible. Trust is deadly. But hatred? Hatred is the only thing keeping them alive.
