(Charlotte's PoV) from the book. I know I promised myself not to get too close to a man, not to fall easily to a man's bed, but here I am almost breathless from walking too fast. Okay, so I am doing something a little different. Actually 2 something's different. Normally I don't post my works until I have completed them. There is nothing I hate more than reading a really good story that just stops. 👿 However, I am having trouble with motivation with this one, so I am hoping that putting it out here will give me that impetus. The second thing is I wrote it in dual narrative. Usually I write in omniscient or first person, but I thought I would give this a try, switching between Lucas and Charlotte.
