When Pangaea is reformed, the beast Croneas is awakened from the center of Earth. No one knows what he looks like, but they are aware of the destruction he could cause to their planet. Each year the government requires blood samples to be sent to the capital to decide who will be devoured by Croneas to protect life as it is.
Audrey Lampage is officially 18, therefore she is able to now be eligible as candidate of the yearly holiday "Battle of Croneas". Unfortunately this year's blood results have chosen her to be the leader of Peja's-one of the six provinces of Pangaea- team.
Shipped off with the other team members Kane, Marisa, Dinara, and Alec, and being forced into training for 11 days (like Audrey needed it). Images flashing of her team/friends dying before her eyes. The thought of possibly having to murder the other five teams was clearly "messed up". But once the holiday approaches will her fears become reality? Will she choke up when the final bell rings? Will she die, winning victory to her province?
