When game-obsessed slackers are hired to collect space junk in the first "orbiting garbage truck," a powerful alien orders them to return and destroy the people on Earth known as "Boomers".

Synopsis:
A spaceship, the Waste-REL, is designed to clean up space junk. However, it can't launch because it has no crew.  This is not because the sentient A.I. that was developed to run the ship is so dangerously powerful that the Space Traffic Control company (tried to) delete it; (although that's true). It's because no respectable astronaut wants to be an astro-garbageman.

Portia Summers, the space company's young HR manager, can't find any astronauts willing to go... until she remembers that her out-of-work brother, Donny, and his Pheely-geek buddies, Mickey and Lyle, are all addicted to full-sensory-immersion computer games - which means that they can be kept amused indefinitely in an orbiting garbage truck!

Portia's boss gives these slackers the job, but forces Portia to launch with them. Meanwhile, the sentient computer program has fallen in love with Portia and stows away on board.
However, they don't get time to collect any space junk before the ship is sucked into a psychedelic vortex. They emerge in another galaxy, where they are told by an alien that they must return to Earth with a weapon "that will kill all the Boomers before it's too late".

Sent back to Earth, they crash land in the middle of a huge rock concert where millions of ancient but well-preserved Boomers are all celebrating.  Will the crew of the Waste-REL really follow through on the demands of the alien?  Is it true that the the Boomers must die?

In order to force citizens to remain peaceful after the riots about birth control, the massive country of Americo decided to allow scientists to stimulate the afterlife once they die. If a citizen was good and broke no laws, then the scientists would stimulate Heav, the equivalent to Heaven. If a citizen broke a few minor laws, they would go for Rebirth, where they are born with the same personality and mind, just different looks. If a citizen goes to jail for more than 15 years, the scientists would stimulate Ell, the equivalent to Hell. Lorian Hurando, director of the Afterlife Project, knows things about the system that few people know about. But when a letter arrives in the ocean of death threats one day that tells him to 'retire' or he will be in grave danger, he took the chance and retired. The letter is one in a series of letters that is all from a mysterious sender initialed H in cursive. When the final letter tells him to shut down the Afterlife, he must decide between right and wrong. But first he must know which is which. Heather Dia is the daughter of a store manager. What happens when a CIA agent has to assassinate the Easter Bunny to save the world from a deadly biological weapon that the CIA developed to destroy the world? The story begins with the hero killing the Easter Bunny in a shopping mall, surrounded by a Chinese double agent disguised as a mall security guard, a Russian spy disguised as a janitor, and a Navy SEAL disguised as an old woman in a wheelchair. Then the story flashes back to how this whole crazy situation got started in the first place. The hero is fresh out of college when he's recruited by the CIA because they want him for his technical background while he just wants an easy job where he can steal office supplies as part of his job benefits. While at the CIA's secret training facility known as the Farm, the hero is unknowingly recruited by one of the CIA instructors to deliver a suicide vest to a domestic terrorist organization (called the Oppressed Majority). This domestic terrorist organization plans to use a biological weapon, called the Dumb Bomb, which infects people and makes them stupid so they'll be unable to tell lies from the truth. Fortunately when a Chinese double agent reveals her plan to stop a Russian spy and a Navy SEAL reveals his plans to stop a CIA traitor, these two people agree to help the hero when they realize the CIA traitor and Russian spy is none other than their head instructor who has been leaking information to the Russians and getting CIA agents killed all over the world. After the hero realizes that the head instructor plans to use him as an unwitting accomplice so he can take the blame later, the hero, his Navy SEAL friend, and Chinese double agent plot to foil the villain's plan by assassinating the suicide bomber before he can infect people with the Dumb Bomb biological weapon that will turn Americans into complete idiots before they can do it on their own.

As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. So, given this exercise in mental illness, the topics touched on (in no particular order) in this tale are destruction, death, superpowered wackos, torture, pain, loneliness, chaos, the will to survive, never giving up, giving up and not giving a shit, the desire to protect, failing to protect and causing more trouble than was already present, disappointing and/or abusive parental figures, bullies, unjust punishments, just punishments, racism, violent and usually superpowered fights, sci-fi gadgets, bitterness, sarcasm, twisted and demented comedy, control or lack thereof, weird and awkward high school drama, lies and brainwashing, alien aggression, moral ambiguity, unhinged villains, fantastical weapons, a piece of shit main character, conditional friendship, a fuck load of musical references, anger, fear, depression, extra-dimensional creatures, godly powers, various esoteric connections, pop culture references, and of course, in general, superpowers.

I have sat often in front of the computer, and stared long at the screen without ever writing a word. The synopsis for this project has haunted me since the first person asked me "So, what is it about?", and to this day I have never been able to deliver a straight answer. This book is about a number of things, many of which do not fit evenly into a succinct description. I have tried to make them fit and have found the resulting descriptions ill-representing and dull. Thus, I have decided to go without a description. This book will fade into obscurity no matter what I put here, so I might as well write what's really important. Winter in a city is an especially punishing time. This book comes out of my late nights and early mornings riding the train, and my looking at the window and being able to make out nothing but the blur of the glass. From the outside it may look dead, but certain people know that the inner workings of a city are a true marvel to behold. In writing this, I have tried to capture that marvel and deliver it to you, the reader. This is a book about a city and the people within it. The rest is up for you to read, if you so choose. The last cover was AI generated, so I spent some time making a crude cover of my own. Objects started being kinder, treating them as one. But then their greed took over them. A virus overran through them, making them more greedy, and mad. They started to fight people, hurting them. They requested for a battle, to show who was boss. It was long and hard , but the objects eventually won. The city is still a bit damaged by the battle. The robots are now locked up for long. Maybe one day they'll let them out. This story takes place a months after this battle. They've been in Yoyle City over a year now. The city is more dark and gloomy, but stuff still happens. Just to clarify, other object show people live in an neighbouring city together, but BFDI gets its own town. :) -------- Please DO NOT copy exactly from this book, but you can get inspired!
