"The bathroom walls were a crimson mess, and Ady's dead body was sprawled out on the floor. The creature kneeled down next to him, feeding. It was a horrific sight, to see this monster with its teeth sinking tireless into a man's breathless body. Ady's eyes were removed from his orbits, and his mouth was still open, from his attempt to scream. Hungry growls filled up the bathroom, while Ady's interior was brutally devoured. On the face of the creature was contemptuous pleasure, without any mercy towards the pale and disfigured human being in front of it. It was atrociously heinous."Complete

I stumble backwards slightly before a hand wraps around my waist, keeping me from falling. Looking up, I realize this wasn't a wall, but instead a very attractive male. A very messy, but definitely sexy, mop of black hair sat on top of his head. When I looked closer, I realized that it was a deep shade of brown that was probably often mistaken for black. His skin was tanned, but an olive tone suggested he had a natural darker complexion to begin with. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips which were resting slightly open. His lips jerked up into a lopsided sneer as his hand snapped back to his side. The sudden movement left my back cold, as if his palm had been a source of warmth. "You've got to be kidding me!" His tone dripped with disgust. My eyes turned to questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. I brought my hand up to rub my nose, squinting at the slight pain. "What the hell." He grumbled. "I, Jay Julian, reject you as my mate." He, or Jay, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? What the hell was that? Was it some sort of local lingo? How did I get rejected on my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. If that's how this small town school worked, then I was screwed.
