Heyo, I am a 14 year old m2f (male to female) transgender. You could say I'm "out of the closet" but circumstances make it a bit more difficult. I'll go into it in another chapter. But thats it. Enjoy.

Eric was the younger of twelve year old twins, just approaching their thirteenth birthday. Although only six minutes younger than Lauren, she was clearly the alpha character when it came to sibling rivalry; she had an effervescent outgoing personality and exuded confidence in everything that she did. Eric, on the other hand, was introverted and largely lived his life in under the shadow of his sister. That was until Eric was diagnosed with a life threatening condition. Admitted to hospital for emergency life-changing surgery. Waking up a different person there was a new-found confidence and optimism that results in a metamorphosis into a life that is far from the shadows. Born out of Covid-19 lockdown, this was conceived as a light-hearted short story to counteract the doom and gloom that was resulting from the pandemic. It grew longer than expected, as I got to know Erin. The story might still be a bit rough round the edges, but I wanted to release it in time for summer vacation reading. There is no violence or hatred, just kindness and acceptance. For those that discount this as unrealistic of the real world, I counter two arguments: 1) It is a complete work of fiction. 2) My son went to Lycee (Senior secondary school) in rural France, where attitudes are generally very conservative. Despite this, there was a girl his his year, who believed she should have been a boy. HE was accepted for who he was, without prejudice. Hopefully it offers a little light reading with a happy ending. Not that the story is set in Scotland and the spelling reflects British convention, perhaps with some Scottish dialect thrown in.

Dawson has had it rough. Not as bad as some, worse than others. He lives in constant secret, heart ache and pain. After his parents died he under went a transformation, rendering him unrecognizable. After three years of pain, cutting, and one suicide attempt, he returns to his hometown. As Dawson hides his identity, it will become harder and harder to seal away the truth when faces from the past start revealing themselves, including his gorgeous ex best friend Alec. Only Dawson isn't the only one with secrets and when a lie reaches Dawson's ears, it will take all he has in him to protect the one thing he has left. Himself. Dealing with depression is hard, and Dawson will have to learn it's not something that can be handled alone. He'll have to open up his heart once more, even if it risks him getting hurt, if he wants to achieve happiness. ---------------------------- This is a trigger warning, to anyone that has problems with self-harm I recommend you don't read this as there are some graphic scenes. Also, this is a boyxboy story, so if you don't like hot steamy action between two boys, this is not the story for you. If you don't like it you shouldn't even be reading this anyway and I will not tolerate hate. You do not choose your sexuality and no one else has the right to make someone feel bad about who they are. Also, if any of you are having problems, or the story has triggered you, please inbox me. I love to hear from my readers.
