Avianna Wilson was a normal girl with a normal life. After moving into her grandmother's old house, she began noticing strange things. One night, her sister goes missing, turning her life completely upside down. Now it's two years later and the police have given up, saying her sister must've been kidnapped and murdered. Avi doesn't believe them. Wanting answers, she searches her sister's room for clues and finds some things that weren't there the last time she searched. A locked door in her sister's closet and a journal with a letter for her...from her sister explaining about the a whole different faerie dimension that lay behind the door and how in order to save the human race, she had to venture deep into the faerie world. Will Avi have the courage to chase the secrets that lay beyond the door?
