Ihr Name ist Hope. Aber nichts an ihrem Leben fühlt sich wie Hoffnung an. Hinter verschlossenen Türen wartet kein Zuhause - sondern Schmerz. Kontrolle. Gewalt. Jason, ihr Bruder, löscht alles Helle in ihr aus. Und das Einzige, was ihr bleibt, ist ein Fenster. Ein Fenster in eine Welt, die sie nie betreten durfte. Eine Welt voller Licht. Lachen. Wärme. Freiheit. Jeden Tag sitzt sie da, stumm, und fragt sich: Wie lange kann ein Mensch durchhalten, bevor er zerbricht? Dann kommt Damon. Er sieht sie. Nicht die Angst. Nicht die Fassade. Sie. Zum ersten Mal seit Jahren flackert etwas in ihr: Mut. Aber auch Zweifel. Denn wie kann man sich selbst retten, wenn man längst vergessen hat, wer man war? Dies ist nicht nur eine Geschichte. Es ist ein Aufschrei. Ein Herz, das flüstert: Ich bin noch da. Und irgendwann werde ich frei sein.

Ich bin nicht gegangen sondern ich wurde gezo- gen. Familie raus, Welt rein. Und plötzlich war da dieses Chaos, das alle für Charakter hielten. Wolkenkuckucksheim ist mein Versuch, Ordnung zu lassen, statt sie zu machen. Zwischen Erinnerungen, Überforderung und ei- genwilligem Humor lerne ich, dass Heilung manchmal so leise ist, dass man sie nur im Rückblick hört. Ich habe aufgehört, mich zu rechtfertigen und angefangen, mich zu verstehen. Kein Drama, keine Flucht. Nur Akzeptanz. Und, naja ein bisschen Stolz, dass ich geblieben bin.

Kennst du das? Wenn dir pausenlos tausend Gedanken im Kopf herum schwirren und es sich irgendwann so anfühlt, wie ein großer Haufen Spaghetti, den man einfach nicht mehr entwirren kann? Oder wie ein heftiges Gewitter, das durch deinen Kopf wirbelt und mit Wörtern um sich wirft? Mein Kopf ist ständig voll mit Gedanken, die ich gerne aufschreibe, um wieder klarer denken zu können. Das hier ist einfach nur eine Sammlung von Gedichten, Essays, Kurzgeschichten und anderen Texten eines oftmals emotional verwirrten und prinzipiell an allem zweifelnden 17 jährigen Mädchens. Vielleicht ist hier ja auch etwas Interessantes, Inspirierendes oder Motivierendes für dich dabei? Hast du dich schon einmal gefragt, wie viele Gedanken täglich in deinem Kopf herum schwirren? Mein Kopf ist dauernd voll davon und manchmal möchte ich meine Gedanken gerne zum Ausdruck bringen, in dem ich sie aufschreibe und mit euch teile. Vielleicht können einige meiner Gedanken ja sogar zum Nachdenken anregen und jemanden erreichen. Habt noch einen schönen Tag 🌻 Did you ever think about how many thoughts there are in your mind on a single day, maybe in a single hour? Our minds are constantly full of unsaid words and I think it would be too sad if they belonged unsaid. Sometimes we need to write things down and share our thoughts with other people. The world is changing every hour. The sun rises every morning. The moon takes its place every night. There is always a light in the sky, whether its sunlight or moonlight. But what happens when even on the brightest of days you cannot find the light in your soul to smile honestly? I have felt that way too. Every hour, the world changes, every minutes counts, every second counts. Each day is a new beginning, but only if you find a way to let the sun rise each morning, and to let the moonlight shine through the dark night. My life is a strange as you'd like to think. But to me, as you will read, I think of it as just a daily adventure, and each day is another obstacle that has been overcome. With not many friends, and very few who know my whole and true story, I look to this little book. Enjoy my rants, but be warned, it is true life, there isn't always a fairytale ending.

I feel more tired than ever, yet I've never been so hopeful. My imagination of the future never dared to look past the age of 18. Today, I dream bigger than ever. I'm longing for more. I'm hungry for knowledge and art. I'm striving for expression. I feel like I've hoarded up so many emotions over the years that I now must scream them out as loud as I can - in every way I possibly can. Read my books. Study my pictures. Listen to my music. Recognize my thoughts in every aspect of your life. Learn to see the world through my eyes, and I promise you: you won't be the same. For better or worse, this world is as evil as it is pure. You will hate mankind more than ever - but you will never have loved humanity more.
