It's been two weeks since Rey left to go see Luke Skywalker and Finn had just woken up. Finn wished she hadn't left. He loves her.
Finn eventually finds Rey and the two have to battle along with Luke against Kylo Ren.
Will they ever fall in love while protecting each other? Or is it just not meant to be?

This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version.
