The Boys in Green

Serenity Holden, also know as Ren, a junior in high school who had always been the girl that everybody knows at Carson Ridge High School. Sweet, popular, and gorgeous.
But nobody seems to know she's fighting her own internal battles. Her father puts himself into work and drinks on his free time ever since the divorce with her mom. She thought her life throughout high school would be this big internal fight and secret that nobody else could help her with and know about. That is until the one night after a long, intense basketball game when her and her mother get into an accident.
The night that the boys in green changed her life forever.

Wyatt Black, a junior in high school. Smart, captain of basketball team, attractive, basically everything a girl would want in a guy. He could probably have any girl he lays eyes on. Although, he never really cared about anything like that.
Still fighting from the death of his mother and the sick man that his father has become, Wyatt only cares for a distraction. Until the basketball game when he spots the cheerleader from the other team who he thought he would never see again after that night. That is until his basketball team spots the barely visible crashed car in the midst of a snow storm.
This cheerleader who walks into his life, shows Wyatt a new view of life. And shows him that it's okay to hurt and you don't have to live in your family shadows.

Together, Wyatt and Serenity help each other discover a happy ending in what feels like a never ending battle.
