"Well I never thought 'detention' was fun, but you Asshole changed that." He laughs and I do to.

"Wow thanks for taking note of that and for kicking my reproductive organs." He says sarcastically. I offer him an apologetic smile but I ruin it by laughing. He rolls his eyes and I nudge him.

"The Asshole isn't such an ass."

"Yeah and the Sweetheart ain't so sweet nor has she got a heart." I shake my head.

"Wow that hurts," I place my hand over my heart and let a tear slip.

"See you around, Asshole." I say standing up, while he does the same.

"You too, Sweetheart."

**********

Jay is many labels, nerd, jock, geek, music freak but most commonly; tomboy. To her though, she's just her, a plain awkward, typical girl who loves food...a lot, loves basketball, hates dresses and all things girly and let's just say pretty awesome.

She goes by the motto: Labels are overrated.

Does that change when she bumps into an overly arrogant bad boy? At times he's a jerk and at times he's somewhat nice...or he tries to be. Jay thinks he's an asshole with his player ways, yet fun nature but somehow he squeezes his way into her average, boring life.

Turning it into a roller coaster even if she hates heights.

Labels are overrated aren't they?

She finds herself caught up in his endless story and all of it's chapters with hidden secrets about this mysterious guy who can't seem to leave her alone, will she keep on reading and find out what's the ending or will she stop and put the book back on the shelf. Will she have enough tolerance for his bullshit? Will she stay to be in his sequel and will he stay to be in hers?

Can he show her there's more to life than sports and grades?

Can she show him there's more to life than hooking up and being a dick?

The Asshole and the Sweetheart.
Taking everything as it comes.

Meet Violet Summers. She's the sarcastic girl who doesn't really ever get noticed by anyone. She blends into any crowd because of how "normal" she is. And she loves it. She wouldn't be able to stand the attention of everyone around her. That's why she won't tell Ryan Bloore, her crush for three years, that she practically worships the ground he walks on. Ryan is the captain of the basketball team at their school, so guys see him like he's a god and girls act like he walks on water. If they were to date, all eyes would be on her- she would be under everyone's scrutiny. So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.

*Completed* "I just want to know why." I say as I turn over, trying to find his figure through the dark of my room. "Why what?" He asks. "Why you're being so nice to me." I say quietly, vulnerability seeping into my words. "How we even became friends." He sighs, "I want to know how." I scrunch my brow. "How what?" His response is soft, the opposite of his sarcastic personality. "How you don't see it." ******* Reagan Holt was about as average as a high school student could be. She didn't play any sports, didn't participate in the popular activities, and wasn't the girl all the boys chased after. All except one boy. He wrote her a letter every week. Each letter described something new for him to love about her. Whether it was how beautiful her laugh was or how his heart swelled with every smile she gave, he never failed to write how he felt. So the two should be together, right? That's the way Reagan wants it, but there's just one problem. He signs his letters "Love, Anonymous." Now add an obnoxious, conceited, sex god into the equation and you get a teenage girl confused on who really loves her. The sweet, tender written anonymous lover, or the cocky, ignorant asshole? -REVIEWS- "You create such wonderful characters and I can't wait to see what happens next!" VampireSa5m41993 "Thank you for wonderful dogs and little brothers and eccentrically hormonal best friends!" -Nat-Attack "I am totally hooked on this book!" nbazinet "I love the way the story flows and that you have really roundabout characters. It's as if they're real while I'm reading!" life_is_beautiful115 "Your work is literally art." lemonsun123 "Every time I read this book it just makes me smile." Nicooole97 Cover by: -winterr

Kissing him... *** Jordan Decker is an arrogant senior in King Valley, a footballer and an A-grade student. All teachers liked him, girls adored him and guys wanted to be friends with. After graduation she will fly to New York to study law at NYU, leaving her family behind and start her independent life. When she is pulled into her highschool's crush's love-life problems, she finally understands why falling in love with him was a bad idea. But she doesn't know that Jordan had noticed her from day one. *** PREVIEW into chapter 8 I climb up the stairs and find myself in a long corridor what spread to two directions. Matt's bedroom was on the east wing so I turn to my left and walk toward the last door in the end. But before I can reach half way, a door on my right opens and out runs Jordan. We bump into each other. "What the..???" I steady myself, grabbing his jacket and prevent myself from falling backward. "Run!" He says. "What?" I release him. "Run," he grabs my hand and starts pulling me with him. "Why would I...?" I turn around while I'm dragged toward the stairs and see Tiffany, all angry and face cherry red come throw the door Jordan had exited a minute ago. "You dirty bitch!" She yells at the top of her lungs as she sees me, Jordan's hand still gripes me. Amazing cover by @uniqueread.

She wanted to test a theory. He wanted to win a bet. What could possibly go wrong? ------------------------------------------------- Why was this shit so much easier in the books?! The Macy Anderson in me would spit out the alternatives to every curse word known to man. The Ruby Buchannan in me would knee him in the groin. The Mia Hastings in me would lunge at him first, taking him on that table right there and now. The Haley Geller in me would confuse the fuck out of him by asking way too many questions. Hell! Even the Tessa Young in me would do something, like beg him to come at me with her desperate but wild ass... But the Lola Dino in me -aka the me, me- just stands there frozen, contemplating a very important decision in her head: fuck, fuck, fuck! Who do I act as next?! Um, how about yourself for a change? My conscience decides NOW to be a smartass. Yeah, right? Like that's ever worked before. Not even having the slightest clue of what to do, I wait for him to make the first move instead, and then I'll just go from there. So, I wait. And I wait. And I wait. And I wait. I wait as we remain staring at one another -I like a deer in headlights and he like a predator stalking his prey- for what seems like forever. But when his ripped, muscular frame finally charges at me, his strong tattooed hand instantly meeting the back of my head, he crashes my lips onto his so forcefully that I'm now just left with one thought and one thought only: Lola Dino, what the hell did you just get yourself into? ------------------------------------------------- *WARNING: Contains mature content including language, sex, violence, and drugs.
