Nearly 50 years ago, the Mist never existed, Dohi didn't exist and now technology doesn't exist. The Mist came through like a massive fog, destroying anyone and anything in its path. That didn't mean everything died, however.
Judin has always lived in the massive City of Dohi, aka prison. It was meant to keep people safe from the dangers of the Mist and the mutated creatures that were caught inside it. Wherever  you go, it's kill or be killed. 
Judin finds himself lost in the Barren lands, where these mutated animals and even people live. He has little supplies, little hope, and he's scared for his life. Everything changes when he encounters Alerassa, a seemingly ordinary girl living outside the city.

From there, nothing will be the same.

Far into the future, remains of humanity live among trash in a city known as the Refuge. Humankind divided into sectors, known as the Importants, the Unimportants, and the Isolates. The Isolates were kicked out to roam the mountains of trash. The Importants and Unimportants live together, but the Importants have better roles in the Refuge. After the Crisis, more threats emerged. Scientists had engineered a biological robotic creatures to help eat trash. Consequently, the creatures evolved and began to eat the flesh of animals, including humans. All in all, when 17 year old Ash gets swept out in a flash flood, he learned the secrets of the past, why the creatures eat flesh, and why the Isolates are sent out among the trash. Finally, Ash manages to get back to the Refuge. He tries to convince people to believe what he saw, but will they believe him? Or will he get sent out to the mountains of trash again as an Isolate?

Original Title right? It's a real WIP. First off, a disclaimer, this novel is pretty trashy, hope you can enjoy it anyway, maybe sharpen your critiquing ability. And with no further adieu the actual description: Iris wakes up to find herself in the midst of a zombie apocalypse, and she missed the last flight out of the country. Now she must find a way to navigate this vastly different world, a world where everyone who wasn't bitten the first night gained a superpower, that is, everyone except for her. As she learns to survive with her friends, she grapples with the uneasiness all this is causing, who can she trust? Where can she go to be safe? And what does the incessant humming 'buzz' mean?

As sad as it may be, we live in a world where the rich are getting richer, and the poor live in worse conditions every day. A world where people have to live behind masks and hide who they truly are, just to be accepted into this corrupted society. A world where everyone primarily thinks of himself and not about what he could to help his brother in need? Dive into my vision, be bold enough to read these chapters, and accept that you may have also been committing these mistakes that corrupt our society and together, let us grow into better versions of ourselves and begin to wonder; what if this had happened to me? How would I have reacted? What can I do to change my community? What if I decide to manifest my dreams every day instead of wishing they would happen? Every single part of this will be entirely unique but all interconnected by one subject, "the human nature". Only together can we change the world, don't be so lazy to think that it is the government's job to do so; take your responsibilities and act to see a change.
