Here is a book to tell you and inform you on batch file programming and coding with interesting bits and tutorials on code. Additionally, it includes the link to Nova which is a program designed as a template so you can take its features and implement into yours - more inside. Nevertheless I hope you enjoy. 

Note; The infomation that was gathered for this book is widely known and used. This book is to educate and to give the common Joe at least an understanding of this stepping stone language.
