According to most, they are psychological, traumas, or desires that are so strong they manifest inside the mind when the body rests. All my life, I lived in a normal neighborhood, normal friends, normal family, but then this dream started, same event every night that got me thinking if I ever experienced a trauma, or a hidden desire. But few tell that dreams come from real experience unknown consciously, but the mind can only sort of remind you that it happened by making you dream it... Preface Sometimes, our dreams represent what we went through during the day. Some might argue that it is our brains way of filing all the new information every night from the twelve hours spent prior to sleeping. Sleep would be something that if we didn't experience it every day, something incredibly terrifying. Our body shuts off, processing and storing, like a machine. Our dreams are something that are mostly insignificant. But with some people, they mean something and tell us something, perhaps even warn us. A voice asked. "You'll catch a cold, why didn't you take your jacket?" I spun around, and my eyes locked with Marcus's eyes. "Hey," I said, my voice a little trembling from the cold, and I wrapped my arms across my chest, my shoulders stiffening. I had not expected that it would be so cold. My fingers dug into my sleeves, and I shifted my weight from one foot to the other, trying not to shiver too obviously. Marcus didn't answer right away. He just looked at me for a second, then stepped forward. Silently, he slid off his jacket and placed it over my shoulders, and I ensnared it tighter around me immediately. Nightmares are kind of funny, you really want them to stop but you also want to see what happens next. " Nightmares are just little figments of your imagination" my dad said. Every brain cell in my body wanted to believe him but I couldn't, I knew for a fact that there was something more to my nightmares, there always is, isn't it? I was one of the 'special kids' who everyone at school thought was weird about the spirit subject, but I was always right. I have ALWAYS been right about such things. This powers of mine escalated when I met the three of them, the senses in me heightened when I was trying to fight them off me. Its like something or someone was planning something very inhumane and our fates choose the four of us to be a part of that.
