Daisy Stone is a girl that used to have it all; popularity, friends, a perfect love-life with captain of the football team, and most importantly, the status of being the eldest daughter of the perfect Stone family.
But that all comes crashing down after the death of her mother, and she pushes everyone out of her life, which is now anything but the perfection she used to live.

But then she meets Wes Brutten; the only person that she can even remotely relate to. He seems to get it all. He understands the darkness of losing a parent. But most importantly, he understands the sense of being alone.
