Mitch is 18 and lives in the upper west side of Manhattan and attends Juilliard. He has a couple of friends but mostly keeps to himself. Then, in the middle of his final semester, someone new comes into his classes. The new guy, Jerome, seems like the type of guy who would get caught for doing drugs or vandalizing some building.
Jerome has had a rough childhood, and he always been known for all the bad things he's done, like being kicked out of 4 high schools in 1 year. But there's one thing that he can never let go, and never turn away from. An old, scrapy, cello. He's been playing since he was 5, but he can't let anyone know.
One day, someone hears Jerome practicing, shocked seeing the boy doing something other then the horrible things he's been known to do. After a while, he decided to apply to Juilliard. When the two meet, neither of them have ever known a person like the other...........

Preston was in a committed relationship, married, ready to begin a family, but complications left him alone with his little boy. But as their paths collide, things change. Winter Wasteland (The Pack)
Six. Six survivors of many. A terrible blizzard, accompanied by a siege of mobs has left a village of youtubers dead. All except for the pack. Preston, Rob, Vikk, Lachlan, Mitch, and Jerome are the only ones who have survived the slaughter. With all of their friends dead and not many supplies to run with the group must work together to survive a harsh winter environment. As far as the eye can see snow covers the land and with blizzards constantly battering the boys it's no surprise one night when a pack of wolves attack they are separated into three groups of two players each. To make matters worse there seems to be endless challenges around every corner, ranging from mobs to natural disasters. Can the six reunite and find signs of life or will they freeze/starve to death in this barren wasteland? ~~~~~~~ Note: This is an AU where they look like their minecraft skins but human form. Also they used to live in a village with many other youtubers. It is real life but includes minecraft mechanics. Also this story is Vikklan, Poofless, and Merome but not in any direct way... Mitch, more commonly known as Benja, has been wandering the wastelands all of his life. He prefers to work alone, away from all the people who could hold him back. Jerome survives his suicide attempt. He's ashamed and upset, why would his best friend stop him from finally being happy? And above all, what made him this way? Jerome is scared to admit his obvious feelings, but he hints it just about every time he and Mitch speaks. Mitch is oblivious as ever, and Jerome is getting tired of it. Mitch walks into Jerome's bathroom to find his best friend on the floor, dying. Mitch can't quite understand why his best friend would do such a thing, and why he was so sad. Mitch will stop at nothing to find the bottom of the poor Bacca's problem and fix it for him, it's what Jerome deserves, right? It's been more than 500 years since humanity tore itself apart, a series of natural disasters and nuclear war killing most of the population. Mitch and Jerome were born days apart, the only survivors of a large family group, struggling with the realization that humanity wasn't as perfect as they thought. He wants to begin the journey back to where humanity was, to where everyone could live comfortably. Lachlan and Rob were trying their best to keep their little group alive, making the most of the natural resources around them while Preston battles with the idea of religion, old versus new. Harry and Vikk simply want to find peace in their life, stability with a group of people they could trust. There isn't much trust in a world where resources are scarce.
