Allison Carson already lost her dad, but what happens when the world ends and she's separated from the ones she loves the most? She's forced to survive on her own. Inevitably becoming a cold, hard bitch who doesn't care about who lives or dies as long as it's not her. Taking lives as she sees fit while fighting for her own.
But what happens when she's reunited with the people who left her behind? Will she drop the act and become her old self or is this the way she is now? Is this the way she has to be?

Lauren is in her worse state of mind after losing everything she's ever loved and gets to meet Rick in his scariest state of survival also, relating to him more than anyone else in the group having done the same things as Rick to survive at all costs.
