The year is 2141.

2135 is when it started.

A sudden disease, running rampant throughout the world of Eribourne. Nobody knows how it started. Its origins are kept a secret. All they know is that once you catch it, you don't get rid of it. It comes in any shape, any sort of form-- horrors raising from a simple change of hair color to the seeping of your flesh slowly dripping from your face.

Some want to save them. Some want them all dead. Some want it to envelope the entire world.

These groups are separated into their own factions; the Heroes, the Hunters, and the Infectors. Each have their own leader and work only to pursue their own goal.

So when you wake up with nearly no memory of any kind of events a forehand-- you are urged to choose a side. But with little to no knowledge of the situation, how are you supposed to choose? Your own questions lay within yourself. What started the disease? Why are you immune to the disease, despite being constantly surrounded by those who are infected? How do you sustain life threatening injuries?

And how the hell are you supposed to unite three groups that have a death wish placed on each other?

Enjoy this story for free, available now for a limited time! The aliens kill every human they catch, or in rare cases, put trackers on them to discover their hidden villages. When Natalie is caught in an ambush, she is unexpectedly released. But there is no tracker. The Saursunes have an entirely different motive this time. *** Run. Don't look back. When Natalie is trapped in an alien ambush, she is unexpectedly released. The first human to ever be let go. The Saursunes invaded centuries ago, and everyone knows that getting caught is certain death. Natalie is confused but grateful to be alive. As a porter, one of the few humans with the rare ability to teleport between special crystal formations, she must leave the safety of her desert village every day to help gather food. When other villages increase their raids on the Saursunes' farms, the aliens retaliate by hunting down every human they can find - except Natalie's group. Instead of trying to kill her and those helping her, they bring them food instead. Is it a trap? Or something else? Natalie isn't sure, but one thing is certain: the Saursunes aren't done with her yet. ------------ Updates are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11-1pm MST.
