"You're not going to see him again, Ava." My daddy told me sternly.
I narrowed my eyes at him, "Yes, I am."
"No, you're not. It isn't up for debate."
"What do you have against him?" I demanded, unable to control my anger any longer.
"We're not discussing this Ava."
"Why not?"
"Because I said so." His voice boomed. The decision was final, he wasn't talking about it anymore.
There was only one thing I ever wanted out of life and that was to find love. I wanted what my parents had; the love that made you want to be reckless and selfless, the kind that made you indescribably happy. I just didn't expect to find it the summer before my senior year, with the bad boy who moved in with my aunt and uncle.
