If dreaming is a drug, then I'm a junkie.

For most people, sleeping is an obstacle. Something to get out of the way, so they can get back to their life. It's the opposite for me. I live so that I can dream, I work so that I can go home and close my eyes, awakening in the real world. My real world. After all, what is reality if not the place where dreams don't come true? 

Can you fight a dragon on your way home from work, or conquer a foreign land to save an oppressed people from their malevolent overlords after vacuuming the living room? Can you visit a land where mountains look like freshly baked phyllo dough, or live in a castle bigger than my apartment complex? Tigers instead of taxes. Monsters instead of men with too much power. 

Reality is just the word we came up with to accept a mundane life. A birthing place for grander ideas we wish could come true.

They say madness runs in the blood. If that's true, then I'm already drowning in it. I dream of cats who speak in riddles, of stars that bleed light, of hearts that throb beneath soil and stone like they're trying to escape. Most nights, I wake up with the echo of a heartbeat in my ears-never mine, always someone else's. Louder. Closer. My aunt says it's just the wind. The others in the village say it's something worse. We don't talk about dreams here. We till the earth, we bake our bread, and we keep our heads down. Dreamers don't last long in places like this. And girls like me-girls who see more than they should, who hear what no one else can-they don't get happy endings. They get whispers. Looks. Doors shut a little too hard. So I've learned to pretend. I smile when I'm supposed to, nod when I'm spoken to. I hide my journal beneath the loose floorboard, the one that creaks only if you step just wrong. No one knows what I write there. No one knows that sometimes, in the quiet, I can feel the weight of a thousand hearts pressing against mine. Longing. Ache. Something else I can't name. Until last night, I thought I was still pretending. Then the cat came. She didn't knock, didn't ask. Just sat on the windowsill like she owned the moonlight and said- "You're late, Inimar. The hearts are dying."

you are once a normal girl who loves to play with your friends and you always enjoyed them until your friends decided to back stabbed you and your only true friend comitted suicide your parents abandon you. And you are the only one who is living in the house your already 16 years old about to become 17 and sometimes you always dreamed about two skeletons and you made them as your friend even tho they're just your imagination while you were sleeping you always saw a tree that is unique and you somehow loved to stay under it but whenever you're dreaming you felt it like it was real but a few days ago you can't dream your two friends and the tree it made you feel a bit worried.... many years later you forgot them you didn't know them you can't remember anyone or anything. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Yay another story made by the great and terrirble Ruoqa or ink_rose hope ya like my book again also nighty is still my senpai I am just making this because I am bored or should I say this book will entertain me so I made this but again I hope that you enjoyed it.

Did you ever wonder what your dreams meant? One second you are in fairyland and then the next, gruesome things happens, like the unicorn stabbing the fairy princess's face over and over, and then you wake up feeling if you got holes in your face. According to most, they are psychological, traumas, or desires that are so strong they manifest inside the mind when the body rests. All my life, I lived in a normal neighborhood, normal friends, normal family, but then this dream started, same event every night that got me thinking if I ever experienced a trauma, or a hidden desire. But few tell that dreams come from real experience unknown consciously, but the mind can only sort of remind you that it happened by making you dream it... Do we see monsters because we imagine them, or do we really see them?

Have you ever felt that you're staying awake and alive in your dream and you're well aware that you're awake? It's just like Lucid Dreams, you know that you're dreaming and if you want you can control it. Most of us want to wake up from the dream, we don't wanna stay in such weird dreams if we know we're dreaming. It feels like 'Get out as soon as possible'. Hi, A few years back I began my blogger's journey. Now it's time when I archive them all here and share with you all. But before that let me do the little formality and introduce you the blogger, the writer, the artist behind this all. Hey I'm Ocean, a dreamy girl, who has completed her college studies of fashion designing from a few years back and then stepped into the writing world. Though writing was already a big part of me since my school days, but now it has become a professional practice too. Other than writing and designing, I pretty much like photography and travelling. And the things which I love to do in my free time is dancing, listening to music - hindi classicals, qawwali, ghazal, indie-pop or fusions are my favourite, other than that watching movies/series - Classics, Rom-Com, Action, Thrill, Sci-Fi - ALL! and studying film-making. Behind the scenes always hit different to me. So, the big question! What this blog archive is about? And the answer is - it's about all those things which interests me and how I have worked around it and published them as blogs. Yes, it includes everything, things I just mentioned above. And all the things I find fascinating, the things I write about, think about and feel about. The things we share with people and the things which we do not share with people. A place - where thoughts, imagination and creation are put together. The world is seen differently every next day and yet it seems the same. To add one more difference or maybe show a similarity, I'm here to put the view from OceanSight! This is about everything for everyone or maybe a single thing for just that someone, who knows! The raindrops fall down equally towards the ground, how they are embraced and how they are accepted is totally different!
