What if you walked into school one day, and to your horror, it blows up? You're caught in the action with a group of close friends- the only survivors to this tragedy. On your way to escape, you get a strange mark which carries you and your friends on a journey- but not just any journey. It's a journey filled with life and death situations, tragic love, tough decisions, and unfortunate deaths. Ember, getting powerful magic in her, gets tangled up in two groups: The Bonum Spectrum and The Keq Cantar. Which one is the right group to side with? Which one fights for the greater good, and which one is lost in their surge to gain power? Ember gets caught in the middle of these two groups who go back to a tough history. Fighting to do the right thing, and to get the right guy, Ember loses her best friends. Will her school recover from the terrible event? Will Ember have a chance to laugh with her friends again? What will become of that blue flame of magic that changed her life forever?
