(This is a fanfic of the selection series by kiera cass so the book probably won't make sense if you've never read the series) Illea is in a surprising golden age; with care and love all around. But for how long? With Queen Eadlyn pregnant with the next heir to Illea, all things must be handled by her faithful husband Erik Schreave. When something goes wrong with the next heir, just what will Eadlyn do to get a new heir? Will no one find out about what she did and lead to another golden age? Or will the kingdom be thrown into chaos and disorder? (some of this story will be told in flash-back, so don't get confused)

Thank you @ortolans for this beautiful cover! ♥︎ ⁂ When Prince Elliot Schreave of Illéa becomes of age to host his Selection, Aleah Rose Conway has no plans to fill out her application. Why should she? There is no way that she, a self-made seamstress, could possibly be picked to represent her province, Waverly. But when the Prince announces her name, she has a choice to make. Does she continue her life at home, wishing for more out of her life but never acting upon that yearn? Or does she go to the castle, fight for representation, and possibly earn the love of the Prince and the crown? Once question still remains: 𝐶𝑎𝑛 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑏𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑘 𝑑𝑜𝑤𝑚 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑏𝑒𝑡𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚? ⁂ 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐘 𝐊𝐈𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐀 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐒
