Just a poem that I published on my original blog in October of 2013. Barely any edits done to it. I was very tired and this was mostly done to motivate a creative flow.

Let It Consume You
Give yourself time to feel your emotions But don't let them control you Let it consume you But not forever. There are moments in life when you have to let yourself feel, the pain the trauma, the depression the anxiety. There are also moments you have to force yourself out of the darkness, before it fully consumes you. These poems are the moments, when I stewed in my sadness, gave it the steering wheel. But are also the moments I grabbed the wheel and took control. This book is for those healing Those fighting Those who are speaking up And those who are silent
