When the museum took the trident away, he felt a sudden weakness, as if something had been ripped from his soul. That was when Poseidon appeared in his apartment, furious and ready to punish him. But Poseidon hesitated when he saw the ocean's energy radiating from Garfield. The human had unknowingly bonded with the trident, and separating them could destroy him.
