Angelique Simmons sounds very much like a good girl name, but no. She runs with a pack of hyenas who laugh as they tear their helpless victims apart. She and her pack drink up the tears like fine wine and scrap the remains of their victims to fend for themselves. The pack retreats to their classes; still laughing and mocking the now humiliated and torn down victims.
It’s all such violent behavior really. In a just world the girls would be ugly, disgusting, and very lonely. But this is not that world. The hyenas have beautiful and athletic bodies and faces that rival those of angels, nymphs, and muses. Their laughs are not cackles but the sweetest music you’ve ever heard. They attract attention by simply sitting there and taking notes.
This is not a just world, but its only high school. Anything can happen in high school.
