Stella Lawrence is sixteen years old. Stella Lawrence is in the tenth grade. Stella Lawrence has never touched the ground.

Growing up in a society surrounded by clouds, the Dome, as the citizens call it, is the only place human life still exists. Earth’s life was demolished after the overpopulation. There simply wasn’t enough room, Stella is told. The Earth was a dying planet.

But Stella isn’t so sure. With a little help from her friends, she discovers what some people take to their graves, and how some things can not be kept a secret forever.
