Especially since she's lived in the war environment her entire life, Nine-TailsSpirit later states that she can never get out of the war environment and that she knows there will always be danger lurking out there in the shadows, whether from the Clans or from beyond the Clan territories. Nine-TailsSpirit sadly couldn't undergo change and is still on guard as if the possessed Meltedstar were still here, trying to take her powers and trying to do Deadstar's dirty work for him...

Her claws are sharper, her heart is colder and her mind is darker than Scourge could ever imagine. So will she succeed in where the former BloodClan leader failed? Disclaimer: This is a completely different world with completely different clans. This fan-book is based off of the book series "Warriors" by Erin Hunter. Since this is based off of Warriors, there will be mild violence in this book. All the characters and the setting of this story is my original work while the rest (like the way how Clans and warrior traditions work, etc.) belong to Erin Hunter. "BEWARE THE BURNING ONE, ELSE ALL WILL FALL." Cats have been living in Clans on three islands for uncountable generations. ValleyClan has been struggling to survive in the past few moons as their enemies grow more powerful. CaveClan is becoming more of a threat and prey has become scarce as leaf-bare comes, but a young apprentice by the name of Darkpaw lets her own curiosity get the better of her to help her Clan-and maybe, just maybe she's the warrior ValleyClan has been looking for. NOTICE (so people won't bother me about them): I had not read past "The Prophecies Begin" when I wrote the prologue, chapter 1, and chapter 2 so you may seem some characters with names that already exist. Also, some cats' appearances may be based off of domesticated cats, are unrealistic, or don't follow the rules of cat genetics. I am aware that regular warrior cats are wild cats, but when I made these designs, I got so used to them that I am not encouraged to redesign them. But hey, this is a fictional story! Multiple things in this book may not be accurate to the traditional way of warrior life (due to me not remembering how it works).

The prophecy states that the "apple will rise." The daughter of the leader, Applefoot, was never friendly with her. Suddenly, a plot seems to be uncovering itself right in front of Sunpaw's eyes. And with her power, she's the perfect candidate to rise to the top and save everyone. But something is stopping her. Something is tainting her soul, persuading her to use her powers for evil, and not good. Unless she can break free of what's binding her, she won't be able to use her powers for good. All she'll be able to do is cause pain, more pain, and even more pain. But it's not so easy, especially when she's got herself tangled in the ropes of the darkness. Suddenly, she realizes that she's no better than Applefoot. Paired with slowly falling hopelessly in love with a cat who never is clear with her, breaking free of her dark insides is seeming harder and harder. If she can't do it, then she'll never be able to see the face of good again. She'll be another apprentice gone wrong, and all she'll be remembered for is darkness. Sunpaw can't let that happen. But unless she figures out how to cut herself free from the darkness, then it will happen. And there will be nothing she can do it about it.
