Three. I'm perfectly normal.
"I don't get it," my eyes begin to tear up. "Why does everyone think I'm insane? Sure I'm different, and see things other people can't, but that doesn't mean I'm an emotionless monster."
"You see things?" He raises his eyebrows. "What kinds of things?"
"People," I reply gently. "People who aren't alive."
"Like ghosts?" His skin pales in what I assume is fear.
"Ghosts who took their own lives when they were living," I scan the room but only realize we are alone. "Is that... unusual?"

They say Niomi May is insane, that she's a freak. Rumors break her, people avoid her, and ghosts haunt her. Then Niomi finds someone like her, James Grey. He can also see ghosts, but a dark secret stays unnoticed by Niomi. James isn't who he says he is, and when they begin to fall for one another, they realize people like them aren't supposed to mix. And being together will only hold dangerous consequences.

My Only Mistake
"I brought you here because I wanted to ask you something really important." He said and I smirked, knowing what he was going to ask me. "What is it?" He sighed and ran his hand through his hair again. "After last night, which was amazing, it got me thinking. What exactly are we?" The question that has been running through my mind ever since last night too. He sighed and held my hands in his,"Maddison, I like you, a lot. And I mean a lot. Their friend group expands and now there is 4 bestfriends in the group, but Connor only has feelings for 1. Will he mess up? But what will happen when his past starts following him everywhere he goes? What will happen when old feelings arise with just a glance at a dinner table?
