What makes people tolerate the flaws of the ones close to them? What makes their flaws anymore worthy of forgiveness and understanding than others? For Jim the answer was that it was the flaws that make us care individually.

I Am A Monster
I am a monster. I am a monster for leaving my father to die on that horrible day when they caught up to us. Maybe this is stupid to feel this way. I would have died either way. The only difference is dying in cowardice, for running away from your prison, or dying in pride, going down fighting for a noble cause, knowing that you changed something. That decision is harder than you think. And I'll be facing it soon enough. Btw I'm so sorry that this is all over the place; I wrote it in 6th grade lol.
