Aiden Bennett has always been the adventurous type. The idea of freedom was only something he could dream of. To be out in the wild and survive off yourself was the ideal life for him. Dreaming of the beauty of the night sky or wilderness from the forest seemed magical. He was adopted due to the fact that he lost the memories of the first six years of his life. Ever since he was adopted, ever since then he held onto the idea that he could find himself in the forest.
By the time of his fifteenth birthday, he decides to go on a survival trial for volunteer soldiers, the incredibly brave, and mindless lunatics with his friend Helen. They are set off on not a training program, but a selection retreat. Where everyone is to go off into the forest for a month and survive off what they gather, afford, or brought with them. With no guarantee that they will all come back alive. The ones that do manage to survive and head to the checkpoint, move on to the real training as promised.
With several creatures, caves, and mysteries within the forest, Aiden is setting himself up with the most dangerous adventure yet.
(You might be able to tell that I am not that good with descriptions. Please just check the book for yourself and feel free to leave any suggestions.)
(I know for all you confused people out there, the names are confusing since I used Aiden for both stories. I like the name, and I think my stories should stick with the same three names.)
(I apologize for any cruddy book covers. I am not talented when it comes to making photos or anything. Please if you can, feel free to help me out with covers.)
