And I sat back and watched the blonde-haired adult as he interacted with the children that barely came to his knees. He crouched and smiled at every single one of the, taunting and joking with them. He would clap his hands and everyone would listen. They looked at him with adoration, even kids that I knew no one could get to talk were raving about their teacher.
So I stood in the doorway, and watched my students begin to mingle with all of his. He would take a step back and smile, as if this life was made exactly for him.
