~Divergent Fanfiction~ Samantha Brooks, 18, grew up in Candor. She doesn't think she belongs in this Faction anymore. Over the years every time she decided to speak the truth she ended up getting hurt. So she now results to lying as a safer option. Traumatic experiences drove her to seclusion, her parents think she's a disgrace to their Faction. Her brother is the only person left that'll stand by her through everything. Loss, grief, pain and self-doubt dominate Sam's life until it's time she attends the Choosing Ceremony. The day of the Aptitude Test has arrived. What Faction will she choose? And how will this decision change her forever? (Eric as love-interest. :D) DISCLAIMER : I DON'T OWN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS CREATED BY VERONICA ROTH. I DON'T OWN THE DIVERGENT-WORLD ORIGINATED FROM VERONICA ROTH'S BOOK. I USE CERTAIN LINES FROM THE FIRST BOOK AND MOVIES, I DO NOT OWN THOSE. RANKED #1-Divergent as of 1-29-2019!!! Thank you, wonderful readers 🖤 Rae lay on the stiff mattress, unmoving. She stared up at the white ceiling, imagining what the seconds, minutes and hours would sound like as they rushed by. Time was such a strange thing. One moment you can feel as if there's too much of it, and in the next moment there's not enough. Time probably passes silently for a reason. If it made a sound it would probably be unpleasant. A constant screaming reminder of the moments that were wasted, taken for granted, stolen away or lost. A raging celebration of the moments that were precious, intimate and full. It would probably be too loud for a person's ears to handle, and we would crumble under the pressure. ***Intended for adults only! The Divergent story and many characters belong to the wonderful Veronica Roth! I hope you like the story. I've pulled together things from both the book and movie, and put a lot of effort into referencing both to make the story flow. Also, in this story the initiates are 18 when the choosing ceremony takes place. Let me know what you think, but please be nice!***
