Lady Mhysra Kilpapan was blessed from birth with a distinguished family, a glorious home and a giant eagle miryhl of her own. Estelle Beaumont just wanted a peaceful hike on her last day of vacation. Instead, one ill-starred moment of curiosity leaves her miraculously stranded in the fictional world of Prythian--a faerie realm full of ruthless court drama, rampant misogyny, and enough deadly magic to keep anyone up at night. Armed with foreknowledge that's only helpful when it isn't actively trying to get her killed, Estelle quickly discovers that living through the story of ACOTAR is far less fun and far more perilous when it's her own basic-ass, untrained mortal life on the line. Her plan is simple: keep her hands off of the plot and survive long enough to find a way back to the family and love she left behind. But the so-called "Mother" clearly has other plans for Estelle, forcing her to confront an unsettling truth--that her role here in Prythian might be far greater than that of a passive observer. As Estelle reluctantly abandons her original plan, uneasy alliances form, old wounds reopen, and fractured trust begins to mend. Love, loss, and scars of the past converge as Estelle slowly starts to see that the family she thought she'd lost might take a new shape, and that the life she left behind might be the only reason she's prepared for the fight ahead. But the cost of shaping Prythian's future--and her own--might be greater than she can bear. After all, it's a future that was never meant to be hers to begin with. And this is all that damned Cauldron's fault... ☆⊱──────⊰ ☽✧☾ ⊱──────⊰☆ A/N: Warning: This fanfiction is purely self-indulgent, with long-winded introspection and a major, major slowburn romance. Read at your own risk lol. Also if you don't like self-insert/iseki like tropes were an original character who read the books ends up in the fictional world as the new main character, you might want to skip this. Somethings will stay very familiar, others will diverge completely, and I plan to add extra world building along the way.

Long before the floating kingdoms were built, the skies belonged to the dragons alone. Humans feared the skies and the creatures that ruled them. But everything changed when dark forces called Velkraths emerged from the earth - twisted echoes of dragons, corrupted by ancient magic and hunger. They began to burn the kingdoms from the skies downward. Desperate to save her people, a girl named Aerin climbed the highest peak to plead with the dragon Esharion. Instead of taking her life, the dragon saw her courage and bound his soul to hers. In that moment, the first dragon-rider bond was forged - a sacred link of minds and hearts. From Aerin and Esharion, the order of dragon riders was born. Dragons bond to their riders from birth, and when the rider comes of age, the dragon seeks them out. Over centuries, the riders defended the floating kingdom of Aerithal, their bond holding back the Velkraith threat. Yet the bond is dangerous-if one dies, the other often cannot survive the loss. Two childhood best friends, Riven, a quiet and loyal dragon rider, and Lyra, a bold and fiercely independent warrior-have trained side-by-side since they were twelve. Bound to their dragons, Virex and Sora, they've fought countless battles and saved each other's lives more times than they can count. But while Lyra sees Riven as her anchor and brother-in-arms, Riven has silently loved her for years. Lyra, however, is infatuated with Xanten, a charming and noble prince from the kingdom to the South called Medana. When an ancient, giant, monstrous dragon awakens, threatening to destroy their kingdom, Riven and Lyra are chosen for a perilous mission. As they venture deeper into enemy lands, Riven struggles with his feelings, caught between wanting Lyra to know the truth and fearing it would ruin everything they've built

This is a rewrite of my old story, Battle Scars. There will be a few plot changes but nothing too major. ---------------------------- The Alryne tribe was known to be a very power-hungry group of Vikings, however they have remained quiet for generations. Now the tribe has faded into legend. However, their current leader, Brendan the Battle Winner, has found the location of the King of Dragons. And he wants it for himself. It is located on the island of Berk, but that island is known to have dragon-riding warriors who have defeated villains such as Viggo Grimborn and even Drago Bludvist, so he must plan carefully. He starts by sending out a group of scouts lead by his daughter Brenna, and in that group is a girl named Alice Flarson. On their journey to Berk, they are attacked by one of the rarest and feared dragons in the world: the Flightmare. A dragon that glows as bright as the sun and is capable of freezing its enemies in fear. The dragon is struck down, but Alice finds it injured on the small island where the group temporarily set up camp. She frees the dragon and flees back to her camp, but as time goes on she finds herself going back to find the dragon and even befriending it. During all of this she discovers a side to dragons that no one from her tribe ever saw, and she makes it her job to warn the chief of Berk before Alryne can take the king of dragons and put the entire dragon kind at jeopardy. War against Alryne is inevitable, but Alice thinks she might be able to help Berk prepare for the battle ahead.

Ermine is the eldest son of Chief Tonraq and Chieftess Senna, and older brother to Sokka and Korra. And is to be future chief of his village in Arctica. He always longed for freedom from his duties. He wished he could escape like his older cousins, Korren and Kya, who three years ago bonded with dragons and became the most powerful beings in Erdas, except for the Great Beasts themselves. And then left to begin their training on the mysterious island base of the Dragon Riders. He however, gets his wish, but will his father, who is one not to let go, let him go to begin his training with his cousins? Moray and his parents are loyal subjects to the king and queen of The Hundred Isles. When he hears rumors that the Riders are returning, and he accidentally finds a dragon egg, and it hatches. Where will he decides his loyalty belongs: to his family and people or to the Riders and Erdas? Toph Beifong is the only daughter of of Lao and Poppy Beifong, one of the wealthiest families in Xia Kao Dai, the capital city of Zhong. Her parents always sheltered her too much that no one even knew she existed because they believed her to be too frail and defenseless because she was born blind. When Toph runs away one day and comes face to face with a legendary beast, thought to be extinct, will it kill her or save her from her current life? This is a fanfic of Wings of Fire, Spirit Animals, and the Inheritance Cycle. I used Toph because I just really like her character and life and love how she went from the quiet, frail girl to the strong independent person she becomes in Avatar the Last Airbender. Again I used magic from Harry Potter. I used names from ATLA because I like their names , but their personalities and appearances are not the same, except for Toph.

Water. Earth. Fire. Air. When I was young, I would read stories of an era long past: a time of peace when the Avatar kept balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation and Air Nomads. But this all changed when my people, the Fire Nation, attacked. Only the Avatar mastered all four elements; only he could stop my people and their war. But on the day of Sozin's Comet, the Airbenders were no more. A hundred years have passed, and the Fire Nation is nearing victory in the war. Three years ago, my best friend: Prince Zuko was banished by the Firelord. Some people believe that the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads and that the cycle is broken, but Zuko hasn't lost hope. He still believes that, somehow, the Avatar is alive. And if he can bring the greatest threat to the our nation before his father, his honor shall be restored. For Zuko's sake, I hope the Avatar is alive. I do not own Avatar: The Last Airbender.
