Nico is gay. Her reputation precedes her wherever she goes in her neighbourhood. She's 'that' gay girl. She's also 'that' girl that will break your face if you look at her the wrong way. Nobody in her friendship group minds though, and as far as she's concerned everyone else (her parents included) can go impale themselves with a dessert spoon so she's fairly content.

The house she lives in is very close to the one next door. As in, she can see into their bedroom window from hers and vice versa. This was fine when Mabel the old lady lived there because she'd just sit in her armchair and watch Eggheads until she fell asleep, but she moved out a few months ago. Now there are new neighbours. Will they be nice? Or will she have some middle-aged couple who do 'juice-diets' and think quinoa is a naughty treat? Maybe somebody her age.

A/N: this book is going to be relatively low-stress with very little angst. I won't be updating regularly just to warn you.
