London, 2005: a seven-year-old girl named Alice Liddell goes missing, presumed kidnapped; around the same time, a girl finds herself in a forest clearing. Alone and unable to remember who she is and how she got there, Alice ends up meeting an unusual group who call themselves the 'Wonderland Rebellion' - a group who have all taken a vow to bring down their ruler, the tyrannical Queen of Hearts. Eleven years on since the rebels assassinated the Queen, a storm is brewing yet again.
