She had been called down to Emergency for a 6 month old infant boy, the original diagnosis was splinching as he had been apparated in with an injured adult but the minute Hermione looked at him she knew better and immediately cast the counter curse and began healing the open wound on the child's chest. Someone had cast a sectumsempra on him. What sort of person would do that to a baby? It couldn't have been an accident. They weren't friends, they certainly were not together, yet she somehow felt wounded that his misery was kept a secret. Not for the purpose of helpful intent, no it was much more selfish than that. She was hurt because he didn't tell her his suffering was just as bad as hers, if not worse. Learning of his turmoil made her giddy because, now, she was not the only one stuck in the past, still drowning in the misery the war left behind.
