A sick girl, who doesn't know it yet, runs into Ashton one day. He's a depressed college boy and hates being the person he is.
Ashton and the sick girl, Ophelia, hit it off pretty well. But a short sentence from the doctor flips the entire world upside down. At least, that's how the two felt at the time. And that's exactly what Ashton and Ophelia didn't need in this relationship.
Ophelia had a devastating case. But the thing is, the couple of them didn't need their minds to continue falling in love with one another.
What they needed were their hearts.

She lives with her parents Marcel and Janette Ferguson, and her four siblings. Jackson and Jared, the twins. Erin, her younger sister, and her older brother Logan. She thinks nothing of her real parents because of what they did to her. Because she was born prematurely, Isabella lives with multiple complications. She has Epilepsy, a weak heart, is constantly tired, etc. Isabella normally spends her time alone, aside from the company of her four friends, not wanting to get attached because she's afraid to be thrown away. When I face him again, Ashton is smiling. He leans back slowly in his seat, resting his folded hands on his stomach. "This is gonna be fun." I narrow my eyes at him. "What's gonna be fun?" "Winning you over." I have to bite back the vomit that fights to exit through my mouth. "Excuse me?" "It's a challenge now." "Nobody challenged you to anything." "I have challenged myself."
