Zeref and Mavis got together and had a child named suki in another realm, but what happened wasn't what they thought. The child was born both demon and angel, the realm leader rejected such a child stating it would mess fate up to much. Mavis and zeref didn't get any choice but to send them back to the normal wizard world. They would have no say on what was to become of the child or what the backstory was, unfortunately all the child's memory of the realm and parents were lost.
